Consilia Legal has been named as a finalist in the Family Law Workplace of the Year category at the LexisNexis Family Law Awards 2026.

The recognition is particularly meaningful for the firm, which won the same award in 2025. Being shortlisted for a second consecutive year reflects Consilia’s continued commitment to creating a supportive, flexible and inclusive working environment while the firm continues to grow.

The Family Law Awards celebrate the achievements of family law professionals and organisations across the country, recognising excellence in areas ranging from legal practice and client service to innovation and workplace culture.

Maintaining our culture as we grow

The latest recognition comes during a period of continued success and expansion for Consilia Legal. The firm has recently strengthened its team and extended its presence into York and Sheffield, creating new opportunities to support clients across the region.

As Consilia continues to evolve, preserving the culture behind the business remains a key priority. The firm has worked hard to ensure that its values continue to shape the experience of every member of the team, whether they are long-standing colleagues or recent recruits.

Those values include supporting flexible working, encouraging professional development and creating an environment in which people feel trusted, respected and able to progress.

Laura Clapton, Director at Consilia Legal, said:

“To be shortlisted for Family Law Workplace of the Year for the second year running, having been fortunate enough to win the award in 2025, means a great deal to us.

“Consilia has continued to grow and expand over the past year, but we have remained committed to protecting the supportive, flexible and inclusive culture that sits at the heart of the firm.

“This recognition belongs to our whole team, whose talent, care and commitment make Consilia such a special place to work.”

A team achievement

Consilia believes that creating a positive workplace benefits not only its employees but also the individuals and families they support.

Family law can be an emotionally demanding area of work. Providing colleagues with the right support, opportunities and working environment helps them approach each client’s circumstances with the care, clarity and sensitivity they require.

Being recognised in the same category for a second year suggests that the principles behind Consilia’s 2025 success have continued to be reflected in the firm as it has evolved. It is also a welcome acknowledgement of the contribution made by colleagues across its family law and mediation teams.

The winners of the LexisNexis Family Law Awards 2026 will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London on Wednesday 18 November.

Everyone at Consilia Legal is proud to have reached the final and looks forward to celebrating alongside the other shortlisted individuals and organisations later this year.
