2025 has certainly been a year of celebration and recognition and we are thrilled to share Consilia Legal’s latest success; being named Family Workplace of the Year at the prestigious Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards 2025, which took place this week at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London. This award is a significant achievement for our firm and reflects the values and culture that define who we are.
It’s not the first time Consilia Legal has been on the receiving end of an award at the Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards; in 2020 we were shortlisted for the Family Law Dispute Resolution Team of the Year category, then in 2021 we won the Family Law Wellbeing Award before being shortlisted for both the Family Law Award for Wellbeing and Family Law Firm of the Year – North in 2022. So to receive another title at this year’s awards demonstrates our ongoing dedication to our clients and our team.
Celebrating Excellence in Family Law
The Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards are a highlight of the legal awards calendar, recognising outstanding contributions and innovation within the family law profession. Since their inception in 2011, these awards have become a benchmark for excellence, celebrating those who go above and beyond to support families during life’s most challenging moments.
From Shortlisting to Winning
Back in September, we proudly announced on our blog that we had been shortlisted for this award. At the time, our Director and Co-Founder, Laura Clapton, said:
“Being shortlisted for this award is fantastic recognition for the hard work we have put in to developing the right culture at Consilia Legal.”
Two months later, and the hope of a win has turned into reality, a testament to the dedication and passion of our entire team.
What This Award Represents
Although the awards are for those working in the family law profession, winning this award is a reflection of the entire firm and our approach to offering legal support. In a recent LinkedIn post Laura shared:
