Following on from recent recognition in the Legal 500 rankings, Consilia Legal has now earned more prestigious appreciation in the form of the Chambers & Partners rankings. Our employment and family/matrimonial services have been recognised with Band 3 status in the rankings recently published.

Chambers rankings are the result of a rigorous and independent research process, and law firms and individual lawyers are ranked in bands from 1 (highest) to 6 (lowest). Consilia Legal is proud to announce it has been included in Band 3 for both employment (Yorkshire: south and west) and family/matrimonial (Yorkshire) and individuals such as Marie Walsh and Laura Clapton have also been recognised for their skills and expertise in these legal sectors. The Chambers rankings are an established benchmark of legal excellence around the globe, but on a local basis are proud recognition that we continue to perform as leaders in our field.

Our Chambers ranking, along with recent inclusion in the Legal 500 rankings, comes alongside being shortlisted for the National Family Law Awards at the annual LexisNexis Family Law Awards and recognised as leaders in Family Law by the Doyle’s Guide 2025. It rounds off a very successful 2025, in which the business has started its second decade, having celebrated ten years in business in 2024.

Employment accolades in the Chambers & Partners rankings

How the Chambers & Partners rankings recognised our family/matrimonial services

When recognising our work in the field of family/matrimonial, our strengths were described as:

  • The team are responsive, and their approach is conciliatory. The advice they provide to clients is accessible and clear, and they can deal with a wide range of individuals and cases.

Moving forward in 2026

The national and international recognition we have enjoyed in 2025 demonstrates our commitment to excellence and high standards, but is also suitable recognition for the hard work our team have put in during 2025. This recognition also acts as a benchmark against which we can judge our future performance, so rest assured we will be taking these accolades into 2026 with the view of improving our client care and achieving more successful results so we can maintain these rankings going forward.
