Emma Cartlidge began working for the firm in September 2015 as a paralegal. Emma was Consilia Legal’s first employee and two years later she starts her training contract to become a qualified solicitor. Emma’s first trainee seat will be working in the employment law department with Marie Walsh and Victoria Horner.
Director Laura Clapton said “Since joining the firm in 2015, Emma has been an integral part of the Consilia Legal team. Our decision to offer Emma a training contract is part of our planned growth for the firm. It also demonstrates our commitment to developing our team which now stands at 9.”
The firm specialises in Family and Employment law and mediation. Emma’s promotion to trainee solicitor follows the recent recruitment of experienced family solicitor, Melanie Webb, who came across to the firm from Simpson Millar in June this year.
Consilia Legal have offices in Leeds City Centre and Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
The whole Consilia Legal team wish Emma all the best!
