Consilia Legal Directors and founders of the firm, Sally Clark, Laura Clapton, and Marie Walsh (above) share their experience of launching the firm, their key values and the philosophy of the practice.
Our Name - what does Consilia mean?
We worked together as colleagues for a number of years before launching Consilia Legal in 2014. At Consilia Legal our team share a mission - to work with our clients to best achieve their goals. How do we do that? By providing pragmatic, creative and commerically sound advice to suit each individual client's budget. This is the reason we chose the name "Consilia" which means working together in Latin. We believe Consilia represents who we are and our relationship with our clients.
Our Directors - who are we?
Our Employment director, Marie Walsh advises a range of businesses, their directors and shareholders on all aspects of HR and employment law issues. Marie believes that "our loyal clients appreciate a down to earth and straight talking practical approach to the law and business strategy. Marie is supported by employment solicitor Victoria Horner who is a highly experienced solicitor and who has worked with Marie for a number of years. The team is also assisted by trainee solicitor Emma Cartlidge who commenced her training contract with the firm in September 2017.
